SexWithCars.com Offline

Unknown if it will be up again - Update 10/01

UPDATE 10/01: The email sent at the posting date of this article has unfortunately remained unanswered, leading me to assume that the website is permanently offline.

As you know, this website is mainly focused on nebulophilia. Despite this, I think it’s important for people to be able to find their community where people can safely share their stories. For that reason, I’ve added a little list of related interests on this site to find a community they can relate to.

One of those websites listed on the page is SexWithCars.com. The website seemingly has its roots going back since at least 2008. Their motto originally being “People Sexually Attracted to Cars and Trucks”, the website mainly has its focus on mechanophilia, the sexual attraction to cars, trucks, boats and other motorized machines. Their motto changed to “For people who treat vehicles like they’re someone” somewhere in 2017.

Though I’m not a member of the forum, I check out the website every once in a while to see if it’s still going. A few days ago I found out that this was no longer the case. But websites can have maintenance, and do occassionally have downtime for other reasons (such as outages). It’s still offline as of the creation of this article, and I don’t know if/when it will be online again. I’ve contacted the owner of the website and will update this post when I have news.

Decline

The website doesn’t allow non-registered members to browse around (which is quite understandable given the sensitivity of the topic), but there are some statistics that can at least show us some information on the activity of the website. Though there are some gaps in the data I’ve been able to gather (making the precise amount of posts per month/year between the gaps not as accurate), it does show an unfortunate decline in the amount of posts, members and topics starting from 2016.
